“We should make it clear that getting help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength”
~ Michelle Obama
I am committed to meeting clients where they are in their current life journey. I believe in a strengths based approach to therapy and my goal is to assist clients in realizing their strengths and skills and assist them in becoming the best version of themselves. I use my strengths including strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, strong listening skills, and the ability to be non judgmental to collaborate with clients and help them reach a new point of wellness in their lives. I have worked in several mental health settings as a direct service provider in which I traveled and assisted adult clients with autism spectrum disorder to achieve goals to live life independently. I also have experience as a Crisis Specialist, triaging and providing in the moment support to individuals who are in active crisis, including answering calls directly from the National Suicide Hotline, assessing risk and assisting members of the community to receive appropriate levels of care services. I have worked in a private practice setting assisting clients of all ages and walks of life with reaching personal and mental health goals as well as discovering their full potential. I am knowledgeable in several different counseling techniques and modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy.
I am passionate about being a part of breaking the stigma that surrounds mental health in society today and believe that taking that step to obtain help is an incredible sign of strength.
I see clients out of our Exton Office Location and Wyomissing Office Location!
