“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.”
~ Mariska Hargitay
I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages and background by providing a safe environment that is full of empathy and allows clients to be open about any struggles that they are facing. I believe in the healing process and that every client is unique in their own journey. By building a therapeutic relationship with clients, I am able to form a connection and provide a supportive environment for any individual who is struggling through life’s obstacles. I utilize a person-centered approach while meeting clients where they are and developing goals to strive to achieve throughout their healing journey.
I have a special interest working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral issues and trauma-related concerns. By working as a school-based clinician, I will have the opportunity to support students who may be struggling specifically with the overwhelming anxieties that the school environment may cause. I enjoy utilizing various counseling techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, play therapy and narrative therapy as I assist clients in identifying their strengths, expressing their emotions effectively, and coping with life’s struggles. I am committed to helping my clients as they strive to become the best version of themselves and am confident in my ability to assist individuals as they work toward achieving their goals.
